Barrel Aged Kirschweizen | 8.0% ABV | Availability: Limited

Pi was conceptualized in March of 2013, brewed in March of 2014, Released on March 14, 2015 (3/14/15!) and is still being enjoyed today! What started as a neat idea to brew a beer especially for Pi Day 2015 became one of our most highly regarded releases of all time. We began by brewing a high-gravity wheat beer and fermented it on local sour cherries. We then racked the beer into multiple red wine barrels where it aged on top of more local sour cherries. The beer was left to age for 12 months before we pulled it up and released it on 3/14/15 at 9:56AM.
